Take a look at this quote from Robertson: "I think the gradual erosion of the consensus that's held our country together is probably more serious than a few bearded terrorists who fly into buildings."
What he's REALLY saying here is that he has NO confidence in our Democracy. He fears that if we allow a diversity of thought, of religion that this tattered ol' country of ours can't handle it. Interpretation: he wants a white, conservative, Christian nation.
The America that I believe in isn't some wimpy little teeter-ing-on-the-edge country. It's made of stronger stuff than that. And if ol' Pat Robertson doesn't believe that way, maybe he ought to pray a little harder. Or better yet, move to a country that's white, conservative and all Christian. Good riddance!
