Images of Crawford, Saturday, August 27

We went to Crawford again this weekend, and it was once again a memorable, wonderful occasion!

The pro Bush folks were much more in evidence this weekend! This was at the original Camp Casey.

Two young Dems enjoying a dance while listening to the music of James McMurtry. Taken at Camp Casey II.

The very wonderful Joan Baez gave a stirring performance for the crowd. That's Cindy sitting next to her.

Here's one lady's opinion about Bush's options.

We met the gracious, charming Laura Flanders of Air America Radio. VTex even went on the air with her later in the same evening!

Here's Cindy giving one of her rousing speeches. She choked back sobs several times during her talk.

Here's a fellow Dem who was moved by the presence of so many crosses. This was in front of the Crawford Peace Center.

Looks more like a meat market and an opportunity for a photo opt than a woman grieving for her child.

Ok Anon,
Let me try to explain it again. This movement has become more than just Cindy Sheehan, thanks to Cindy Sheehan. It's now called a peace movement, and when a bunch of people get together to embrace peace and harmony, it gets to be joyful and fun! We're not filled with hatred and fear like your team is. We can have fun, laugh at ourselves, and we can still fight for peace. I can't believe it's that hard for you to understand.
