Pittsburgh police arrest, and tazer women protesters


Sgt. Clint Winkler, a supervisor on duty, told The Associated Press he tried to use pepper spray on one woman who would not leave, but it hit her glasses. She was then subdued with a Taser, Winkler said.

Pepper spray and Tazers to subdue a measly 60 protesters? Outrageous abuse of power. This is still a free country, and this is inexcusable. Period. Of course, did you hear about it on NBC, CBS or ABC? Nope, the news uis canceled, we are fed the pap of celebrity and faux news.

Demonstrate for peace ya'll. And take a day to go to Crawford!

Bookmarked, nice to see some decent content for a change. FYI have you seen this we've got a new feature, the 'Flag blog' button, which is inconveniently located between the 'Get Your Own Blog' and 'Next Blog' buttons so that we would presumably be getting some flags on error alone (although if one happens to notice it, you can unflag a blog). I don't know about this, what one person finds offensive is anothers cup of tea? Just my 2 cents, Palm Readings .

Not sure who all these anons are, but your post was chilling. I'm getting more and more frightened about the right-wing's attack on us now that they've turned so desperate! Whoever thought that the hippies of the sixties would be the aging protesters of today? I sure wish more young people would get involved. Thanks for keeping us informed.
