I saw this speech on C-Span and it was AWEsome. It should be required viewing for all journalists.
There was a point about 2/3 through the speech where Moyers stopped looking at his notes...started speaking from the heart...and it was SO intense and passionate and intelligent.
Moyers is a national treasure...or perhaps THE national conscience. He reminds us that we can, we should, we NEED to be better Americans than we've been. That is a parallel path that we Democrats need to be traveling down as well.
