A New Downing Street Memo

Tony Blair was 'solidly' behind US plans to invade Iraq despite lack of UN resolution and before he sought advice about invasion's legality, this neary two months before the invasion, according to a newly revealed memo. This memo of a two hour meeting between the prime minister and our president makes it clear that the US planned to invade no matter what the UN decided and even if no evidence of Iraqi weapons could be found. This disclosure was made by Phillipe Sands, a QC and professor of international law at University College, London.
Also see David Corn's "The Mother of All Downing Street Memos?" for more on this outrageous meeting.
