Conservatives Thinking Less Complex

I remember reading years ago that Republicans are unable to see more than one side of an argument, that they actually do suffer from 'tunnel vision'. Liberals, when presented with an opposing view, will consider it and say, "You might be right, let me think about it". Conservatives are unable to reconsider anything. There is now more research available, proving my memory correct.
A newly reported study finds that conservatives are more rigid in their thinking, "less tolerant of ambiguity and less open to new experiences". To be fair, the study also finds that extreme ideologues on both right and left can be equally rigid in their thinking.
