Inspired by Mr. Smith

I just finished watching Mr. Smith Goes To Washington. Yeah, it's Hollywood, and yeah, it's hokey as all get out, but man, I sure would like to see Democratic senators grow the cajones that Mr. Smith had! I've seen this movie before, but what struck me this time is that as much as the world of politics has changed, it's also very much the same! Graft and corruption have been partners of politicians for centuries. We need honest men and women to fight it, and start fighting for the little man again. Is there even such a thing anymore?
