How to Spot a Baby Conservative

A study from the 'Journal of Research Into Personality' found that whiny kids probably grew up to be conservatives. Jack Block, the author of the study found that they "turned into rigid young adults who hewed closely to traditional gender roles and were uncomfortable with ambiguity". Another study in 2003 by John T. Jost of Stanford had similar results and the Stanford researchers were accused of political bias.
When I think of the rabid republicans I know, I can believe they were unpleasant children. Too often, they can be unpleasant adults.
