Peace March in Austin

I found this information on Michael Moore's website. Maybe we can get a group together to attend it?

A Memorial procession through the entertainment districts will start at 1:30 the Federal building 9th and San Jacinto down 6th St to the City Hall where there will be a concert for peace at 2pm

I for one will be glad to attend. Sadly, nobody in San Antonio is planning an event. To stage one in Boerne would be useless. I say we go to Austin to help them get a large number of attendees.

madmomma's the wife, I guess that should come as no surprise!

Important to remember: there is strength in numbers. There is encouragement in looking around and seeing so many who feel as you do.

Some of you remember two years ago in March of 03 just before we went to war Boerne had a protest against going to war and there were well over 100 people there. It was somber, tasteful and my first protest in 30 years. Besides feeling good about being an American and having the right to protest, it felt good doing it right here in Boerne.
