The Eleanor Roosevelt Dinner...it's TONIGHT!

Don't forget to remember to not forget the Eleanor Roosevelt dinner tonight. There will be excellent food and drink, as well as the smartest, most interesting people in Kendall County. Don't consider yourself smart or interesting? I beg to disagree. If you're coming to the dinner, that means you're both!

Proceeds will benefit the Kendall County Area Democratic Women. Will there be a guest speaker? Of course: Jan Jarboe Russell, none other than Texas Monthly writer and Lady Bird Johnson's biographer (when I said smart and interesting, I wasn't exaggerating).

So leave that television behind, mute the cell phone and deal a small blow to the Republican majority: get together with Democrats and have a good time. It's tonight at six at the Boerne Community Center. Be there or be...sorry you weren't!
