It is a short drive to Kendalia Farms! Their web site will keep you updated as far as what produce is available. After talking with Richard and his brother today, I was told that they were good democrats. So consider driving out for some fresh tomatoes, onions, shelled peas and watermelon.

I haven't been to this place, so I can't recommend it from experience...but this is exactly the kind of thing I think the collective "we" should be doing when we can. Buying from local farmers is a great idea. Thanks for the notice Pro'grannie.
