The Lasagna Dinner...

A delicious time was had by all at Saturday evening's Lasagna Dinner. I don't know why I'd forgotten to mention it, but there was an actual program involved, including another hilarious joke from Mary Lowery, a stump speech by candidate Gwen King ("Remember in November!") and then the keynote by David Van Os.

David's about 3 parts Texan, 1 part lawyer and 1 part a fire-n-brimstone preacher. And all 5 parts are old school liberal. He gave another one of his patented barn-burnin' speeches that left people jumping up for an ovation.

It was good chow, good company, good entertainment, and a good fundraiser. Hope you were there, but if you weren't, see you there next time.
