President Bush Clueless...again
Recent Bush quote: "Uniquely American isn't it? I mean, that is fantastic that you're doing that. Get any sleep?"
That was said in response to a divorced mother of 3 (in Omaha, NE), who worked three jobs to make ends meet. I am sure Bush thought the "get any sleep" line was just hilarious. Bush, who never held a real job, never had to figure out how to make ends meet and who probably doesn't know that beans and cornbread make a complete protein, thus stretching those food dollars, had the unmitigated gall to answer this woman flippantly. It must be good to be king (George).

Yeah, I was amazed at the thoughtlessness of that remark, too, but I heard that the woman, who probably was given a scripted question to ask him, went off script and Bush didn't know what to do! Flippant is all he DOES know, so he went with what was familiar. Poor George, he was born with a silver head up his a**!
And this, truly, is the main difference between the heart of the Democratic Party and the Republican Party. Republican politicians will be SURE to do that which benefits their own (the monied, the big donors), and Democrats will at least TRY to design legislation which will positively affect the "little guy."
Overlay this premise on the Iraq war, the tax rebates, inaction on health care, prescription medications laws...
GW Bush is a child of wealth who talks a good game about the common man, but who's never been one, and never truly stood up for one.
